Wowza!!! Nice photos!!! I can almost feel the warmth of Summer coming from them as I sit in my office with the rain coming down outside! Happy last weekend before the new job starts!
Concerning your photo uploading (since I want to see more of them). You need to save them as smaller files to upload to the internet faster. They don't need to be near that great of quality to look the same.
Here's what I do:
In iPhoto (I'm assuming you still use Mac)...
After you edit or crop, go up to the top and click "share", "export".
At this point, you will see "scale images no larger than . . ." Make the larger number "1000" (either the height or the width) and make sure underneath it says "Preserve Aspect Ratio".
Click "export". Another window will pop up and make sure you select the "Desktop".
The picture will then save a as a smaller version of itself onto your desktop and when you go to upload photos to your blog, select them from your desktop. It's easier to find them and they should upload quite quickly.
If you use a PC...well then I have no clue.
Hope all is well. You are a good mom to give your 2 year old a popsicle (although I notice she is outside)!!
